Entry from: Amsterdam, Netherlands Entry Title: “AmsterDAMMMM” Entry: “Being that we went the cheapest possible route on our first and only overnight train we didn’t get the best sleep. Our chairs reclined far back enough…it was just noisy (the train and other people’s bodily noises) and a little cramped. We arrived in Amsterdam at 9:30 in the morning and gave it our all to go all day. After being pleasantly surprised with our B&B that provided us with a large room with a huge window to the street, a full kitchen to cook breakfast (groceries provided) and a house computer and printer. The woman that runs it was super helpful as well, marking everything on a map for us so we were sure not to miss anything! We headed over to Mike’s Bike Tour’s set out to depart at 11am in front of the Rickhts Museum. The bike tour was great! It took us to the outskirts of Amsterdam where we to go to a cheese and clog factory. We were shown how they make their cheese from fresh milk from their own cows and then taken into another room where they made clogs. They showed us the whole process of making clogs. At the end of the tour they let us try all their cheeses and let us loose in their store to purchase goodies. After the cheese and clog farm we rode back into the city and stopped along the way for some history lessons …
