People who don’t smoke weed know that it’s bad for them, so why should they allow others to harm themselves with it and potentially harm others in the process? Also, marijuana is not harmless and certainly does not have health/medical benefits. People only say otherwise because they’re so messed up on weed.
If marijuana is legalized in Cali, could a person be charged locally or would it be a federal crime?
For example, if a person is arrested for possession of marijuana in Los Angeles, could they be charged with a local crime or would it be a felony?
I dont smoke or do any type of drugs. I just find the matter interesting.
I am so sick an tired of thinking that I might be arrested if I do it. This is our right to do it. If everyone that believes marijuana is a healing herb and demands it be legalized Im sure it would. What about ADD people and people wih illnesses not to mention war vets. Don’t these people deserve to use this if they want? Whats wrong with law makers and society today?
What can a person do to help marijuana get legalized?
I’m not a pothead, I just don’t see the problem with it.
Also: please don’t say anything if you’re just going to say marijuana is bad and why, because in my opinion the only thing bad about it is it’s against the law.
I was just thinking the other day, if marijuana is legalized, won’t that make more farmers to to growing weed in place of other, less lucrative crops like corn, tomatoes, etc? It seems to me that a farmer is going to grow what pays him the most, and if weed is the US’s biggest cash crop, thats obviously where the money is. Could the legalization of weed cause there to be a shortage of agricultural farming? A similar thing is going on in Colombia with cocaine. More farmers grow cocoa leaves because it nets more than other crops.
So, as some of you may know marijuana could be legalized in California. My questions are:
1. How much would it cost per ounce and gram?
2. Where would it be sold?
3. When would the law go in to effect?
4. How old would you have to be to smoke marijuana?
Also, do you want marijuana to be legalized? Why or why not?
It has already been proven that there are too many drunk drivers on the road for our law enforcement officers to stop, so why compound the problem by legalizing marijuana so that those same people will be drunk AND stoned behind the wheel? Don’t we have enough of that problem without legalizing marijuana?
