We have a survey assignment and we need to ask at least five questions about legalizing marijuana. I got some ideas but I need more to compare which questions are better.

Ask if the legalization of pot for recreational purposes would violate any treaties the US is a party to.
1) Should medicinal marijuana be legalized?
2) Should NON-medicinal marijuana be legalized?
3) Should states be allowed to permit the use of medicinal marijuana (despite the federal government not allowing it)?
4) Should states be allowed to permit the use of NON- medicinal marijuana (despite the federal government not allowing it)?
5) In your view, what is the best argument IN FAVOR of legalizing medicinal marijuana?

6) In your view, what is the best argument IN FAVOR of legalizing NON-medicinal marijuana?

That’s where I’d go. Then, plot what arguments who finds compelling, etc. If you don’t want to leave it open ended, you can make 5-8 multiple choice, where you make people choose which is the best argument LISTED. Make sure to leave a “there is no good argument” option, though.
1st ask why it was made illegal in 1937 by henry asslinger. then llegal again in 1942 to braid hemp rope and again illegal in 1951? you wanna know why? because henry asslinger wanted to quickly move up in ranks, he made up stories about it maken kids kill their parents and white women having sex with black men. he targeted the minorities.
